Short Rib Sinigang
This popular Filipino tamarind base soup known as "sinigang" can be made with pork ribs, fishchicken or (as in this recipe) short ribs.  Short ribs are my favorite choice of meat for this dish.  The short ribs are first braised in the tamarind base soup to a fall-off-the-bone tenderness.  The vegetables are then added to the soup and cooked to perfection.  The soup can be served alone as a one pot meal or served in the Filipino tradition with steamed rice on the side.

Korean Beef Bulgogi
Thinly sliced stir fried rib eye steak marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce made with sesame oil, sugar, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, red pepper flakes and toasted sesame seeds.  It is very easy to make and the result is a sweet, mildly hot and satisfying beef dish

Smothered Turkey Legs
Comfort food that can be enjoyed year round.  In the same vein as smothered chicken and smothered pork chops, turkey legs or thighs are another great choice for this popular soul food dish. As most large pieces of meat, turkey is best cooked in a slow braise that allows for the meat to stay moist while softening it to a fall-off-the-bone texture.

Tilapia Adobo with Mango Salsa
Mango salsa makes a great topping for fried, grilled or baked fish.  In this recipe Tilapia fillets are marinated in the Filipino adobo sauce (soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic) and baked in the oven.  The dish is then topped with a quick and easy mango salsa made with tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice and of course mangoes.

Roasted Butternut Squash with Green Beans, Walnuts and Rosemary
Roasted butternut squash with its creamy texture compliments the flavors of slightly crisp green beans with rosemary and walnuts in this simple yet delicious vegetarian dish.

Dinde Au Vin
French for turkey with wine.  Traditionally Dinde au Vin is made with red wine. In this recipe, I chose to use white wine and added shiitake mushrooms along with the traditional root vegetables of onions and carrots.  Small potatoes (omitted in this recipe) are also a good addition to truly make this dish a one pot meal.  Enjoy.

Cranberry Rice Pilaf
A popular holiday dish that goes well with Roast Turkey or Baked Ham.  In this version of the dish sweetened dried cranberries are cooked with orzo and long grain rice seasoned with turmeric to give the dish its golden color. Toasted pine nuts and julienned scallions are added to finish the dish.

Jamaican Reggae Style Chicken Curry
A blend of onions and peppers in a Caribbean spicy curry sauce create this outstandingly delicious dish.  It is among my favorite dishes and it has become one of the most popular recipes on my blog.  In this variation of the dish, I briefly braise succulent chicken wings to a fall-off-the-bone texture in just 30 minutes of cooking time..

Poached Chicken with Ginger and Scallions
This is a variation on the popular Steamed Chicken Chinese dish.  In this version the ginger and scallion sauce is rolled in the chicken to infuse the meat with its flavors.  Don't be fooled by its appearance, this dish packs a lot of flavor.

Spinach Caesar Salad
Recipe with homemade croutons.  Great alternative to the classic Caesar salad with romaine lettuce.

Tomato Mozzarella Salad
In this casual version of the tomato mozzarella salad I used heirloom tomatoes with fresh mozzarella, arugula, basil and a balsamic vinaigrette flavored with garlic and rosemary.   A quick and easy side dish for almost any occasion.

I love roast belly pork and in this video Marco White Pierre gives some easy tips to cooking a perfect roast belly pork with a cider cream dressing.
Made this dish on the weekend and it was just absolutely delicious.  Highly recommend this rice pudding dish. It is one of the best I've tried.  Not sure what Ramsey refers to as pudding rice, but I used Arborio rice (Bomba rice might work great as well).  Also note that his oven temperature of 200 degrees is Celsius (= about 390 degrees Fahrenheit).
