A great simple and easy salad that goes well with grilled meats. This vegetarian Jewish Deli style cucumber salad is a cool refreshing dish that uses sherry wine vinegar, sugar, onions and dill to create a sweet and slightly sour flavor.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
1 large cucumber thinly sliced
1/2 cup sliced red onions
3 tablespoons Sherry Wine vinegar
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
In a large bowl combine the cucumber and red onion slices. Season with salt and toss the ingredients together. Add the apple cider vinegar, water, sugar and fresh dill. Toss the ingredients together again until well combined. Refrigerate and serve cold.
